For a company to be profitable and highly successful, needs to have productive, passionate and creative conscious teams!
For a company to be profitable and highly successful in a holistic way, it needs to have very strong, passionate and productive teams, which are cohesive and thrive in the evolving world, that are fulfilled, engaged and motivated.
To achieve this, the team members and the leadership need to evolve into a new paradigm of conscious teamwork.
These are seven qualities of conscious teams that are empowered thriving to success:
1- Alignment in shared goals and vision: The team members know and have a clear vision of the team and shared goals, and how it integrates with their personal goals. Everyone understands the purpose of their work and how it aligns with the team and the vision of the company.
2- Conscious culture: They know who they are as a team, having shared beliefs and values that empower them to achieve success. They know the principles that they stand for and, are aware of their limiting beliefs and behaviours.
3- Learning mindset: They show up with a curious mindset to learn from other’s points of view, instead of being right, controlling or defending their own. They are open to learning from others perspective, so that they become more resourceful and creative, as it fosters great collaboration and inclusivity.
4- Clear expectations: They are aware of the “unspoken contracts,” therefore they are open and vulnerable to share their expectations and ask what other members’ expectations are. They make sure that everyone is on the same page so that they avoid misunderstandings and have aligned focus.
5- Intentional communication: The team is very self-aware of the benefits of embracing intentional communication:
- They have strong listening skills; seeking to understand others person point of view, with a curious mindset, they do not listen to respond.
- They are very intentional in how they communicate with each other, being aware of the language that they used.
- They have successful meetings, as they set their intentions of the outcome from the beginning; with specific goals and in what they need to address.
- They have robust communication protocols and expectations; they are very mindful, respectful and intentional of each others time
6- Healthy relationships: They enjoy a vulnerable culture, where they are not afraid to express what they think or feel without fear of being judged or “punished” afterwards. All of them come from the perspective that being open, empathetic and supporting each other; it is where everyone finds success, engagement and collaboration to achieve personal and team goals so that the companies thrive in its higher purpose.
7- The well-being of everyone: Each member is aware and values their physical health. They encourage each other to take care of their bodies and have healthy choices; as they know that a healthy body will support them to achieve true potential as an individual and as a team, so that they respond effectively to the demands of work and life.
